Test Planning : The project team reviews the pilot system before delivery to verify conformance to the specifications. Any variance that is noted is corrected at this stage.

Dynamic Software Testing : The Pilot system must be thoroughly tested on site at the client’s business. A test matrix document and sample data must be prepared to properly test the system in a variety of situations, and a small pool of users must be assigned by the project team to perform the pilot test. Any problems that are found should be corrected before proceeding to the next implementation step.

User Training : All the preparation for users is important for both training purposes and reference. The training for both client’s System Manager on system processes and maintenance, and training of the users on system operations.

Live System Rollout : After training is complete and the users and managers desire to begin using the system, actual data will be moved onto the system, and the pilot systems will be replaced with the live system. The live system will be monitored during its initial operation.
